Addition of 'Programs' or structured grouping of projects for reporting and Risk/Issue assignemnet
Creation of program (multiple projects) , and enterprise (one per instance), where sites would be created and risks and issues, along with OLAP/Reporting could auto roll up to a customers alignment.
i.e. The same way projects can have sub projects, but without the embedding of the projects them selves. Designated 'Portfolio' pages would automatically have a different sharepoint site template, allow for high level risks and issues to be managed, and have automated dashboards for showing high level cost and schedule metrics, across a group of projects. The highest level, would then be the enterprise, where all programs, risks, and issues roll up for executive visibility.
Great recommendation - Enterprise Clients are always looking for this. When you are managing 600+ projects with 5000+ resources, building an infrastructure for reporting projects up to a higher level like a PROGRAM is critical for executive management. We are currently spending a lot of time building these reports but it takes time and has limitation.
Building this into the tool would be a great way to compete against other Enterprise Portfolio management tools.

Right ON Mason. In addition there should be capability to associate certain custom fields to a Program, and if possibly security can be differentiated for programs or portfolios. Programs are not just master projects, they need to have their own existence.
