Provide a means to enter and track project change similar to issues and risks
When a project has a change, for example, a scope change, schedule change or a change in approach, the project manager needs a place to document that change and typically seek approval from the project stakeholders. I would like to see a place to enter and manage changes similar to how project online offers a means to track issues and risks. Like risks and issues, the change would have a summary/title, a description of the change, a status (proposed, approved), a date stamp and preferably a way to seek approval for the change from one or more stakeholders. Being able to document change is a very important requirement for a project manager, and it would be very beneficial to manage that change all in one place with project online.

Absolutely agree. Right now we all capture changes off line, and we manage it off-line. We bring it all back together in some custom reporting, but it sure would make more sense to capture within Project like Risks and Issues. Change management is basic project management, so it should be there. I would also vote for a place to hold "KEY DECISIONS" & "PROJECT STATUS" we could report on easily.
