    From the PWA configuration you can customize the notifications that the user receives when a project is published. You can indicate which project data you want to send to the user.

    • Access to multiple PWA instances with Project tile

      Scenario for a multinational company with several business entities with only 1 Office 365 tenant.

      • As for now, to access any new PWA instance (different from the default PWA instance) through the Office 365 interface,

      • 'Available to work' should be based on REMAINING WORK, not total WORK

        Please design the 'Available to work' feature in the Assign Resource window (i.e., Shortcut key: Alt-F10) and 'Build Team' features in the MS Project client so that it works with 'REMAINING WORK', and not 'WORK' because when e.g., we are looking to replace or add resources on tasks that are active and contain actuals, then the 'Available to work feature' does not work as it should.

        • 'Can Level' resource field when set to 'No' should disable overallocated resouces from displaying in the bold red font

          'Can Level' resource field when set to 'No' should disable overallocated resouces from displaying in the bold red font

          At present when resources are overallocated they are displayed in a red font, and the task Indicator column displays a red body icon where the resource assigned are overallocated.

          What I would like to see is that if the resource field 'Can Level' is set to 'No', the overallocated resource should not be displayed in red font and not cause the red body icon to be displayed in the task Indicator column.

          • Improve CSOM

            CSOM currently is useless.... we have been doing an integration project with the Customer using CSOM data.

            This CSOM is no where near PSI. Every time at every request you need to - Context.load and execute Query which adds on more time executing the code.

            Please let me know if there is more efficient way to do this.

            Please improve CSOM. Really Pathetic. and MS Support is useless. Really bad

            • Create Project Site on First project save

              The settings for project site creation have now changed and have been moved to the EPT. There is now no option to automatically create a project site on first project creation - but rather you have to publish the project once its already created. For many this is now an additional step - as a lot of customers create projects in the project centre off a sharepoint list... these new settings currently appear to be a backward step or overhead. this request is to add the ability to include a setting "Create site on first save".

              • Task Notes categories

                It would be great to allow colors selection for task Notes, to better categories them.
                Also, if the MS-Project team can review "Tableau" and incorporate some of its features.

                • Sum value is not displaying on the Sharepoint list with advanced feature

                  I tried enabling display sum value for the custom list for the manual entry number type fields but the Sum values are not showing up on the list with new feature. But I can see them when changed back to the classic experience. May I know Is this a product issue? or do I need make any changes to see the Sum value with advanced feature?

                  • Make 'Start' and 'finish' dates Read only

                    PMs often change 'Start' and 'Finish' dates for tasks accidently which, in turn, applies scheduling constraints to tasks. This often introduces confusion and complexity into a schedule.

                    Instead I suggest that 'Start' and 'Finish' columns for 'Auto scheduled' tasks be made read only. (if you want to adjust dates, use manually scheduled tasks).

                    If a PM wants to impose fixed date (my means of a Scheduling Constraint) they could double click on the task and from the advanced tab of the Task Information apply a scheduling constraint from there.

                    I understand that this is a significant paradigm shift for Project…

                    • Online teamplanner

                      Ability to view teamplanner online in PWA. The teamplanner view is all a lot of my workers care about. It's frustrating that they have to look off my client or I have to take screenshots and email them. The resource assignment view doesn't quite hit the mark either.

                      Be handy if this also blocked out dates in StaffHUb too as we use both for adhoc deskless workers as well as big projects that use the same resource pool.

                        CSOM API for Engagements in Project Server 2016 on premise is missing.
                        Please add CSOM API or allow another way to update engagements programmatically.

                        The Engagements CSOM API works well for Project Online but fails when attempteing the exact same code on 16 On Premise (minus the authentication off course).
                        The error seems to be coming from the server:
                        “Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ServerException: Field or property “Engagements” does not exist.
                        at Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ClientRequest.ProcessResponseStream(Stream responseStream)
                        at Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ClientRequest.ProcessResponse()"

                        • Allow multiple allocations per resource based on type of project

                          Allowing for multiple time allocations per resource based on the type of project will allow for more granular management of resources. Allow a resource to have a certain number of hours per week to work on specific types of projects. For example, in a 40 hour work week, a resource could have 4 time buckets/allocations each with 10 hours (hypothetically these could be for Innovation Work, Maintenance Projects, R&D projects, and Special Projects.
