Use case: User changes department but the old actuals also Need to remain mapped to the old department20 votes
The new agile features within the client are good, but the sprint dates in the user interface 'Manage Sprints" are not mapped to the dates of the tasks in the actual plan. That should not be the case.19 votes
I hear you on that – I wanted to make sure you knew we had the Sprint Start and Sprint Finish dates in there. We’ve heard similar feedback before, so now that your request is more clear, we’ll listen to more feedback and see what the best route is.
There’s a scenario of a hybrid classical method alongside the scrum ones, which is why we want to make sure we can still support that.
Thanks for the feedback – we’ll keep listening for this one. I’ve also marked this back to “Under Review” so more users can vote and comment on this.
Resources can be flagged as a generic resource and do have an max. availability of 0 %. Normally, generic resources behave like normal resources - you assign them to a task and depending on the task type the work/duration/units are calculated, even if there's are max. units of 0 %, it will calculate based on 100 %. Since a couple of months, this is not the case anymore, the client calculates based on 0% and as a consequence the duration of every task goes to 0 (=milestone). This is a huge pain. Please fix it. Thanks.19 votes
I often want to send a reminder to or request an update from resources assigned to a task. Would be nice to be able to select a task, click a button that says "Send Email", and have an Outlook message start up with the resource names automatically populated in the To line, the task name in the Subject line, and a link to the task in the body of the email. I could then easily type my message and send it.17 votes

Currently you can only view work and availability in resource center as hours. We would like to be able to toggle this view between hours and % full time employee.16 votes
* Resource Pool syncronized with AD Azure
* active resource associated with user account
* AD user is deactivated (the user leaves the company)
* automatic syncronization does not set the user Inactive
* impossible to manually set the POL Resource to Inactive, impossible to edit it
Any idea to solve this?
Having a Gantt Chart type view that shows resource names and assignments would be useful. The Team Planner View is good, but a resource Gantt View would be more compact (rollup of assignments) and the resource calendar can then also be displayed in the timeline to show that resources holidays.16 votes
Currently, there are no out-of-the-box emails sent for timesheet rejections. For the existing OOTB rejection emails, include a link to the timesheet in question (for single entry mode) or the My Tasks page. Also include detailed instructions on how to remediate the rejection.15 votes
WIth the new changes to timephased ODATA feeds we need an API to at least read and preferably set the "Timephased Data" settings so when making reports we can adapt based on the user's aggregation selection of:
- Never (default)
- Daily (legacy behaviour)
Please add CSOM/REST interface for this.
As of today, when you enable a autofilter or filter your plan with a standard filter (e.g. to filter on an input in text1) you are no longer able to highlight other data (e.g. something which is stored in text 2).
It should be possible to use the Highlight filter and the normal/auto filter together14 votes
I can't display the calendar week numbers in my project timeline. From week 1 to week 52 each year.
Only "project week numbers" with prefix "W" are available, starting on the week where the project starts. The prefix "W" is not a mandatory need for displaying calendar week numbers.
It could instead be e.g. "CW" for calendar week. CW01, CW02, CW03....CW49, CW50, CW51, CW52, CW01, etc...
Eg. this week (from monday 18'th of april) has calendar week number 11. CW11.13 votes

A PM requests a Developer (generic resource) at 200% as two are required. The RM should be able to easily edit the resource engagement request, and provide two names to satisfy the 200% requirement.
A PM requests a resource, and the RM should be able to easily replace the engagement request with more than one resource. I.e. the originally requested resource is maintained, but the units are reduced and a second resource included to fulfill the original requirements.
Change the capacity planning reports to be able to be run on resource roles instead of only on resource names.
Being able to run the capacity planning reports on resource roles as well as resource names would allow a very high level look at resource planning (across a business unit) as well as drill down to what each specific person is doing.13 votes
The "Team" plugin allows users to export Azure DevOps work items into Excel and Project. Exports into Excel include Start and Target dates from ADO, yet the exports into Project do not. Other fields such as Iteration Path export perfectly. Start and End dates are the most fundamental project/work/task management data elements....can we please add them to the export for Project to achieve parity with Excel?12 votes
When looking at the Relationship Diagram, it's not possible to determine which direct predecessor is driving the selected task, or which direct successor is being driven by the selected task. Would be nice to apply the Task Path color coding to the Relationship Diagram so you can quickly see the driving path for a selected task.12 votes
When a timesheet Manager is changed on a resource record, any outstanding submitted timesheets should be rerouted to the new Timesheet Mgr.
When a timesheet Manager is changed on a resource record, any outstanding submitted timesheets (not yet approved) should be routed to the new timesheet manager.12 votes
The current #TaskPath feature will highlight predecessors and successors of a selected task, but when you have several hundred tasks and the successors are many lines below, it is difficult to follow the full task path. I would like to be able to #filter the predecessors and successors (and driving predecessors and driven successors) to get a quick look at all the dependent tasks.12 votes
It is possible to assign graphical indicators in the Gantt chart view, however those do not carry over to reports, such as the Milestone report. Only text will be displayed in the report, where a visual representation of the data would be extremely useful. Please enable conditional formatting to enhance reporting capability, and reduce the need for third party reporting tools.12 votes
