  1. Open multiple instances of Project for side-by-side comparison

    I want to be able to compare project plans side by side on multiple screens, similar to Word or Excel. This would require multiple instances of Project to be open at the same time (again, similar to Word or Excel).

  2. Deep integration with Microsoft Planner

    Imagine this: you create a task in MSProject that requires action from a task owner. You click the Link to Planner button and go through the linking process (https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/brismith/2017/08/29/microsoft-planner-linking-plans-to-a-project-task/#comment-48795). But instead of just being a link to the Planner plan, you actually see the task as a card on the plan, with Task Name, Start Date, Finish Date, and Resources all being pulled from MSProject to Planner.   3. Link Custom Fields with SharePoint List

    Add an option to link custom field with SharePoint list as lookup table.

    in this feature we should have the ability to choose the field name on the selected list.

    This will give us the ability to define any addtional info for every entry in the predefined list value.

  5. Enable the new Capacity Planning Reports to be exported to Excel and PDF

    With the new Capacity Planning reports (Heat map, Resource utilization / availability etc.) there is no way to export the data to Excel like you could with the old Resource Availability view. Providing the functionality to Export to Excel will give the ability to do further data analysis. Also exporting to PDF would be good as the reports can easily be shared.

  6. Create a better PDP page

    The PDP page needs a facelift its so dated and awful you cant compare to the new powerapp form or even modern sharepoint form . Create the ability for the PDP to include a form based design that can cater for a better layout

  7. Enable conditional formatting of tasks on Timeline

    It would be great if there could be possible to define task color on Timeline according to some field value.
    For example, we have a Task status field and Blocked tasks would display in red, Completed tasks in grey, Running/Active tasks in green, etc.

  8. Querying and Approving Resource Assignments Programatically

    Provide support in the CSOM for querying and Approving Resource Assignments Programmatically. Resource Assignment approval will be very useful for assignments that break business rules, but not all assignments will. If approval for assignments was exposed to the CSOM, we could programmatically approve assignments that didn't break our rules, leaving the ones that do for a resource manager to approve.

  9. Allow Custom Fields to have a size limiter

    I would like to have a limit on the number of characters for a custom field. For example, I have a custom field, it is a number field but I want only 5 characters in length - the individual can enter up to five numbers but no more. This will ensure that the field matches what I need it to for reporting and for data validation. And, while we are at it, it would be great to have the ability to limit the minimum number of characters as well. In this example, I would want the minimum and maximum to…

  11. Prevent deletion of tasks with baselines

    Users often forget to clear the baseline before deleting a task. Show an alert message if a user tries to delete a baselined task.

  12. Automate RBS structure from AD or other systems

    RBS maintenance has to be done manually today, however, we have other systems that contain the Organizational hierarchy like SharePoint, AD, Oracle Applications, etc. This leads to data redundancy and inconsistency. Would be great to have an ability to synchronize and be a consumer of other services to gather this information.

  13. Timesheet reminders with escalations

    Reminders should be sent to task resources to submit their timesheets. These reminders if not acted upon should be escalated as a notification to the Timesheet manager.

  14. Active User Report

    Please provide an Active User Report similar to the main O365 components (EXO, SPO, etc…) that displays the “Last Activity Date” for a user. This helps us track our user adoption. It also will allow us to track who is no longer using their license so we can redistribute them to different users.

  15. Generic Resource Assignments causes a duration or work of 0

    Resources can be flagged as a generic resource and do have an max. availability of 0 %. Normally, generic resources behave like normal resources - you assign them to a task and depending on the task type the work/duration/units are calculated, even if there's are max. units of 0 %, it will calculate based on 100 %. Since a couple of months, this is not the case anymore, the client calculates based on 0% and as a consequence the duration of every task goes to 0 (=milestone). This is a huge pain. Please fix it.   17. Allow the timescale to be modified for Timeline as it can be for GANTT Chart

    Add the ability to select which 'Unit' to be utilized for the timescale in the Timeline, similar to what's currently available for the GANTT Chart.

    The GANTT Chart currently has the following selections: Years, Half Years, Quarters, Months, Thirds of Months, Weeks, Days, Hours and Minutes.

    I would expect the setting to be applied to the entire Timeline view, regardless of the number of Timeline bars that may be included. (one setting that would apply to all timeline bars).

  19. Editing the view of the Approval center

    There is no way to edit the view of the Approval Center. I want to be able to select which columns to display.

  20. Add a user-friendly Mobile application ..

    Add a user-friendly Mobile application to report the tasks status, including Costs they spent, duration, actual start and actual finish, timesheet ..etc
