  1. Timesheet Submitted message is misleading when tasks require approval

    When a user submits their timesheet, the Timesheet page will display the message "Your timesheet has been sent to <Timesheet Manager> for approval".

    If the timesheet contains any tasks that are pending for Status Manager's approval, the same message is displayed even though the Timesheet Manager does not see this timesheet in their Approvals page.

    This message is misleading and users are following up with their Timesheet Manager, who has no timesheet to approve, and this causes confusion for both parties.

    There should be a new message to display for this scenario that tells the user that the timesheet has…

  2. Allow for calendar selection on Start and Actual Start fields in the Tasks page

    The Finish and Actual Finish fields allow you to view a calendar selection tool when modifying those field values from the Tasks page. However, the Start and Actual Start fields do not. You just have to type the date values into these fields. Why would there be different behavior for the same type of field (date)? Please please please standardize!

  3. Default report of time booked on administrative tasks

    Our resources book time on various administrative tasks. Tasks that aren't planned but they have to spend time on anyway because of operations. We want to create statistics on how much time they generally spend on each post to determine where we're bleeding too much development time to operational work.

    Currently there is no way I'm aware off (except for custom reports) to get percentages of time that one person or everyone books on the administrative tasks. We'd have to look back at all approved timesheets individually to create this insight, which is laborious.

  4. Graphical Reporting

    We currently have the ability to create custom fields and formulas and then use graphical indicators based on their results. However we really should have the ability to use those indicators in the client side graphical reports. We should also be able to apply hyperlinks to images within a graphical report, not just a text box. These hyperlinks would allow for making navigation and other items within a report more usable.

    Hi John,

    We agree with you that it makes the most sense to show the graphical indicators in the reports, instead of the value. Feel free to reopen another suggestion with just that as an idea (you should be refunded your votes).

    As for the second portion, you can currently hyperlink to an image within a report. To do this, insert the image, right-click, and select Hyperlink.

  7. Option to Display Paid Time Off on Resource Engagement Detail and Summary Views

    I think it would be helpful to display on the Engagement Detail and Summary views the total Paid Time Off (PTO) based on each resource's calendar (sum of Holidays, Vacation, Jury Duty, etc.). Displaying PTO could be optional in these views like “Include proposed bookings” is. If you check the “Include Paid Time Off” box, then a “Paid Time Off” line would be displayed for any resource with planned PTO in the time period being viewed.

    This would give a more complete picture of a resource's total engagements. This would help if the RM is entering a proposed engagement. It…

  8. Add a Wait action until workflow has been Executed

    Add a workflow action so a PDP cannot be updated until the workflow action has been performed. e.g. Updating a PDP stage page whilst a a workflow is executing causes an error within the workflows Go to functionality and renders the record in limbo, I cannot be re-submitted and it remains in its original stage.

  9. Improve Power View Functionality


    1. Printing Capabilities
      Currently, Excel's Power View will only print the data that is visible on the screen, even if the data extends beyond that. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to print this.


    2. Support in browsers other than Explorer
      When trying to view the Power View report in any internet browser other than Explorer, an error message is thrown. I cannot control what browser coworkers use when viewing a report and this would be incredibly helpful for executives.


    3. Formatting
      The formatting in Power View is very limited, can the normal excel formatting options be carried over into Power…

  11. Way to turn a Risk into a Issue with one button

    You logged your Risk, now its an issue, with one click it creates an issue...you fill out the rest of the details and it links back to issue, date and history with it. This proves a PM did his due dilegance early on in identifying risks as well. Every time I train customers someone always asks if they can do it, I have to say sorry no easy button.

    I think is very usefull thing. Have a report where we can see the percentage of use from all work resources in different time options. this is something basic to take rigth decissions.

    It would be really great if you were able to rename the rows on the timesheets and control the display of them independently. This allows you to make the system much more meaningful for customers as you can tailor it for how they classify their data.

    It would be simpler for users as the names will match what they are expecting to use to categorise their time. Currently its very restrictive and you end up having to use standard rows for other purposes e.g. Actual = Billable, Overtime Non Billable = At Risk so that you can correctly classify time…

  17. Add capability for administrators to edit the Ribbon to hide the Planned checkbox or just disable it so it can’t be used in PJO.

    PJO users keep entering their time in the planned hours rather than actual hours on their timesheets. We have sent out instructions to users on how to change their view, but with hundreds of users, it would be easier as an administrator to have the capability to hide this from our users.

  18. Allow to set Russian (or any other language) in Site Settings -> Regional Settings

    While trying to change the language by steps:
    Site Settings -> Regional Settings
    Language - any other differ from English - there is an Error.

  19. Duplicate existing portfolio analyses

    It would be good, if one could create a new portfolio analysis based on an existing portfolio analysis in order to follow up on the evolvement of a fixed portfolio set without having to click together each time the same scenario.
