It would be very helpful to be able to integrate Microsoft Projects to the PowerPoint Timeline add-in to be able to pull tasks directly from Projects with durations and % complete directly into PowerPoint to reduce the redundancy of having to keep the same tasks updated in two separate locations

Establish custom fields to be used by certain projects for portfolio reporting. Although you are considering adding capabilities for custom fields, it appears those would be added to each project by the project manager. Are we able to establish custom fields to be applied to projects within the portfolio that we select.

Have the ability to add in coloured flags like in the planner to enable groupings

Perhaps this has already been suggested, but the way Planner allows to review the comments added to a task much like a SharePoint discussion is a great feature and it would be a great improvement to the new Project for the web.

Currently the Task entity in CDS is locked. Allow updating the Tasks entity via Flow to enable integration with business processes. Also adding additional fields to type the activities in the schedule, would be helpful.

It would help integration scenarios tremendously if the the Project for the Web REST API (e.g. "https://project.microsoft.com/pss/api/v1.0/projects") could be documented and rendered more accessible by providing samples. One scenario that would be fitting is the creation and update of tasks triggered by another tool/event.

We need the ability to add attachments to a task/subtask and a project in general. Same functionality as in Planner. Ideally we can add attachments from anywhere in SharePoint across multiple teams.

We should have the ability to print off or save a timeline or schedule, so that it can be shared with team members and outside partys without have to give others access to other information within that project.

If you accidentally delete a project, or if a person maliciously deletes projects (e.g. rogue employee), you MUST have the ability to restore a project or multiple projects. In addition, if a person accidentally or maliciously destroys a project, you MUST also have the ability to restore it as of a given date & time.

Please, make it so.

As in Planner it would be very useful if an assignee gets a notification right within Microsoft Teams when a task has been assigned. And also important, the ability to get notifications in Teams only and optional also as an e-mail.

Exporting/printing a roadmap and/or project

When will there be a capability for Project for the web to support critical path analysis.

Newly launched custom fields are local to project and not available in PowerBI reports or in PowerApps built on Project for the web.

Having the custom fields visible within Power BI would allow for more advanced filtering / sorting - which right now requires creating either separate projects, or a separate linked metadata table. With the custom fields, it would be easier to relate tasks to other data sources / and collapse the number of projects.

In the new Project add the ability to filter by task, by resource or by date

Unlike some other project tools, there are only states of a task - DONE or NOT DONE.

There should be a dedicated column to mark different statuses like "In progress", "Closed", "Waiting", "Completed", "Blocked" etc.

Maybe I missed it, but where does one see his assignments and can report upon completion (like My Tasks/Timesheet in Project)?

Project is not allowing a project to include more than 500 project tasks. There does not seem to be published documentation of a limit to the number of tasks.

It would be ideal with the new project for the web to have project online like rest api connection e.g.,

https://<Base URL>/sites/pwa/_api/ProjectData

This will help in data extraction, reporting and to work with data sets.
