  1. Change date format for tasks

    The date format (e.g. dd-mm-yyyy instead of mm-dd-yyyy) set in the general preferences should also be valid for the dates set for tasks within Project. From what I can see the date format for tasks are always mm-dd-yyyy which is annoying.

  4. Provide a means of a central project list from multiple project sites.

    Each Project web site has a project list / assignments. We would like a means to have one central list for independent multiple project sites. You can do this if you put all the project sites as sub-sites under a top site, but then you run into security issues. So for security reasons, have to create each Project site now as top site but then each site has its own project list. Just would like to have one place to go look at all the project tasks from multiple project sites in one place instead of having to go to…

  5. Teams integration incomplete

    Teams integration seems incomplete without having guest access, notification and support in private channels. I see the old request has been marked completed and closed, can you share plan for these also, or atleast mark original as partially completed

  6. Improve the timeline up to the one available on MSProject desktop

    The Timeline of the project is the best way to summarize for everyone the main task in the project.
    In Project Desktop this feature are really improve the interaction inside the team and make a very good overview of the project it's also a way to communicate, share information and see immediatly the status and next milestones. I don't understand why it has not been do the same in Poject for the web.

  8. Project for the web: want to have an optional setting about scheduling conflict

    It looks that Project for the web would adjust start/finish date automatically if conflict. It would be great in some cases, but sometimes need to allow scheduling conflict when a start-to-finish dependency task would start in the same date of the preceding task finish date. It could be easily encountered if projects on a tight schedule. It would be great to have an option to allow conflict or to have a function to fix a date of key milestones even though scheduling conflict occurs after inputting dependencies. Thank you for your consideration.

  9. Customization of the bar in the timeline view would be nice.

    I used this feature in the desktop version to indicate if a task was scheduled with a sub-contractor or if the task was still just a placeholder in the schedule.

  10. Allow Status Managers to see the breakdown of billable and non-billable time in the Approvals Center

    Once a team member has submitted task updates for approval, the project manager or Status Manager can preview those updates and accept or reject them.

    Currently the Status Manager's are unable to see the split between the non-billable and billable time on the time approvals section and adding this into the view would be really useful.

  12. Release a Corresponding Project Template that optimizes capabilities of the Power BI Template for Project Integration

    Microsoft released a Template for Power BI Desktop for pulling Project data into the Power BI environment - however, is there a corresponding Project template on the Project side that is compatible and maximizes the capabilities of the Power BI template? if not, can one be developed?

    When I open a project, it automatically goes to the grid view. It would be great if we could set a preference allowing a plan to open to whatever I'm most interested in

    eg most products I'd like to see the timeline at first. It would be great if the project plan automatically opened to this window

  14. Provide an option to evaluate the expected progress % of the tasks and overall project

    It is important to be able to compare the current progress in a project against the expected progress. Right now we can only have access to understand the current progress. In this way we can evaluate how big is the gap in the weekly updates for the project health

  16. Forms Integration and automation for tasks

    SmartSheet & Airtable have a Project killing feature with Forms to automate data collection. (They also don't require a license for a collaborator!)

    Scenario 1: A task is assigned and due on March 3rd. Automation built in allows a premade form to be automatically emailed to the person the task is assigned to for a status update 3 days before the due date. The task owner fills out the form (and can add attachments, which is apparently coming to Project) and when they submit it, the task status automatically updates with completion and notes and alerts the project manager.

    Poder trabajar como con otras herramientas de office de una manera colaborativa. Modificaciones entre varios miembros del equipo y ver las modificaciones, como sucede con Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

  19. Allow unlicensed users to update/edit tasks

    In many organizations, not everyone assigned to a project has a MS Project license. If Project for the web is an app/tab in a MS Team or Channel, all members of that Team/Channel should be able to at least edit certain aspects of tasks (drag/drop from "Not Started" to "In Progress" or "Completed" at a minimum) without needing a license. Otherwise, I don't see much value in adding this as an app to a Team or Channel where a small project is being managed. One of the major value propositions for Teams is how it enables collaboration and empowers teams…

  20. Resource Leveling: Add the option to excluded Started tasks from the leveling calculation

    In the Leveling Options, please add the option to not have the started task to be schedule before other task that have a higher priority.

    Currently, a task with a lower priority will be schedule before a higher priority task if it is (or will be) started before the higher priority one.

    See step 3, that goes before step 4 to 8 (Leveling Order)
