  1. Power BI template which includes Project for the Web AND PWA projects (and Planner?)

    Most organisations will find themselves using a mixture of Project Online, Project (for the Web) and Planner to assign and manage tasks. From a management perspective we need a single report which shows progress and resource utilisation across all projects for it to be a useful tool. At present there are separate Power BI templates for the 2 versions of Project so we have to manually compare which takes a significant amount of time. Please could you provide a template which shows Project and Project Online information. I'd be interested in others views on Planner as well - not critical…

  3. Integration between Microsoft Projects and PowerPoint Timeline Add-In

    It would be very helpful to be able to integrate Microsoft Projects to the PowerPoint Timeline add-in to be able to pull tasks directly from Projects with durations and % complete directly into PowerPoint to reduce the redundancy of having to keep the same tasks updated in two separate locations

  4. Set a colour scheme for the timeline and roadmap

    In the timeline it would be useful visually to be able to set a different colour from a different group of parent tasks and milestone. Or, this automatically is selected from a new colour. The colour should be taken from the lead parent task, not every parent task.
    In the roadmap, this should be a different colour for a different project and then still select the tasks status, but this appear as an icon instead of changing the colour of the task.

  5. Allow users to organize projects into various categories / folders

    I use MS Project for organizing various tasks related to an idea or delivery.

    Microsoft should develop support for a new class of MS Project users.
    These users, like me, use MS Project primarily to organize tasks relating to a project. They don't care about aspects such as Risk, Time, Team, etc.

    Their use of MS Project is for themselves to do things in an organized manner. Basically MS Project is a To-Do List with features such as sub-tasks, dependency chain, etc

  6. Add Actual Start, Actual Finish, and Remaining Duration

    When projects are in the execution phase, task process needs to be tracked using Actual Start, Actual Finish, and Remaining Duration if not finished as of the Status Date.

  7. Custom fields for Portfolio Analysis

    Allow collaboration between the project web and portfolio analysis view's when conducting resource planning. This would need to the ability to allow custom field to produce cost fields at a project level.

  8. Assign task to guest users and allow write access

    Currently we can only assign to internal users. External users can read the schedule in Project for the Web, but cannot update existing tasks. Please allow paid or unpaid access for guest users.

  9. Task private/public setting

    I need an ability for task admin to manage task private setting for project members, so that admin can control access to viewing tasks. Specifically, I want assign each project to each member with private setting, so that each member can focus on their own tasks which assigned to them. If this setting become available, task admin can create tasks in the project before publishing the project to members.

  10. Various Views with Different Time Scales

    If this is meant to be used to plan out large scale projects we need the ability to create views on different time scales. As well as the ability to make detailed schedules on an hourly basis for 1 day to 2 weeks.

  12. Web Part for Pre-existing Sharepoint Sites

    There should be a web part so that I can have my Microsoft project roadmap or planner on display on the home page of my pre-existing SharePoint 2016 site.

  13. assign guests as task owner in Project plan

    We can add guests in microsoft planner tasks but if we try to add guests in the Project Plan individual tasks it's not working. You cannot find the guest back if you try to assign, if you try this in microsoft planner it works. It's a big gap if you try to manage project involving internal/external parties so as it is now, it can only work for internal projects?

    Please add a feature where you can shift all task dates forwards or backwards in one go, without the need to manually move each task.

  16. Print or Export timeline schedule view

    We should have the ability to print off or save a timeline or schedule, so that it can be shared with team members and outside partys without have to give others access to other information within that project.

    It would be great if we could add the custom fields created in the Dynamic Project app to the project for the web form. Currently we have to navigate on both platform to update our projects.

  19. Add a 'Choice' data type for custom fields in Project for the Web

    I would like to be able to assign each task to a particular trade (e.g. welder, fabricator, painter etc) and use these to filter or group the tasks for export (probably through Excel and then be printed) to pass to each trade supervisor.

    The shop floor workers don't have access to a PC, hence the printed task cards. Also, the supervisors do not have MS Project and would not be expected to modify the Project Plan anyway.

  20. Allow adding Azure DevOps items as tasks in Project for the Web projects

    It's possible to add work items from Azure DevOps to Roadmap now. But it's still not possible to do the same for project in Project for the Web.

    With this feature we could combine agile project planning in DevOps and waterfall style planning in Projects for the Web. Also we could see the Devops Planning in the PowerBI reporting.
