Similar to Planner's integration. Having a site part that points is not good enough.
You can now add a Project or Roadmap as a tab in Teams! In your Teams channel, click the ‘Add a Tab’ button and search for Project or Roadmap. You can add an existing project or create a new one specifically for your team!Learn more here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-the-project-or-roadmap-app-in-teams-2dc584e6-2f6c-4e2d-9008-0b3f6845eb52?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

Can you elaborate on what functionalities we can expect from
I'm a little confused about this.
This functionality should be working on or added to backlog or similar... Since it is already being displayed in commercials. Right?

I am currently getting a, "We couldn't sign you in, Please try again" error for the web page site in the tab... yet I am able to see the Planner tab just fine. Just add native functionality for this! It clearly just works for Planner...

You can add a website tab and use the URL of the project but it requires the user to login each time they click.
Whats unclear is to me.. can resources be assigned to a task without having a PFW license.
Someone mentioned this in another thread, but it would essentially be like to-do and planner.
Will a task assigned to someone in Project for web show up in the "assigned to you" section of To-Do?

This feature is crucial to the success of Project for the Web
I've spent the past hour trying to figure out how to do this because the blog post announcing the new Project says we can. Now I see here that it is still only "planned," not available yet.

I also saw this feature demonstrated at Microsoft Ignite 2019 as being a native capability. Can you please activate this feature for the rest of us?
I don't understand. I signed up for Project based on the GIF showing integration of Project with Teams in this blog by the Vice President of MS: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2019/10/29/new-microsoft-project-rolls-out-worldwide/
Now I find out the integration does not exist.
This is false advertising
So the launch announcement shows Teams integration but no simple way to do this at launch? Is this a joke or what? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2019/10/29/new-microsoft-project-rolls-out-worldwide/
I don't see anything about this in the Office 365 roadmap and can't find any official instructions on how to add the Project Tab to a Teams channel. At this point, Planner is much more powerful than Project Plan 1.
Must be able to see the individual projects from Project Online in Teams (in a channel)

Add native Teams integration that doesn't require you to add Teams to a O365 group and also provides an App in Teams that allows you to display the "Project for the Web" embedded without having to copy&paste the URL and add the &dynamicsUI=true parameter
