Filter Tasks, Resources and Dates
In the new Project add the ability to filter by task, by resource or by date
You might have noticed that you can filter by string on the Grid view. You can now filter on task names and assignees (check the top right corner of your projects!)
I’m marking this as partially complete, as I know there were many other asks here. Please continue sharing your needs and scenarios around filtering.

Filter on late, upcoming tasks as well as filtering for a certain date range would be absolutely necessary for managing large plans, same as filter on %complete to see open / in progress / finished tasks in other views than the board view.
We have columns - so why not put a filter possibility to all those columns in the grid view as in SharePoint or Project Online.
Or make it similar to Planner. But more than just a text search is required to make it work for most of our customers
Not being able to filter out completed tasks is a mistake and this product shouldn't be considered a paid for version until it has a lot more features. Filtering on words in tasks is so limited that it really adds no value.
Please add a filter option also in timeline view, it's a mess to add dependencies manually by dragging if there are too many tasks. It would be helpful also to see how certain tasks are related to each other.
The ability to filter completed tasks from Grid view would be very helpful.

Not being able to filter on finish date in the grid view is a major limitation when managing a project. You can filter on name and string but not date.
Really surprised to not find bucket filters in timeline view - would love to see this implemented.

Needs to be able to use the filter the same way it works in planner. Create filter options on the Boart and TimeLine Views

Please make this work just like Planner. This is the major tradeoff for us between a "free" product with that functionality, and a paid product with dependencies and no ability to sort or filter what's going on.

This is a must have to my experience, working with three proof of concepts at customers.

Would be great to have a filter option on time range and resource level. This way it's more clear for the team members when they have to execute their own tasks.
Would be great if a filter option similar to the one in Planner could be added. Especially in the board view. Now it's very hard to track for instance your own tasks
Having filtering option on the columns would help to easily find the tasks when the schedule grows to more than 10 or 20 lines.
But filtering by one user should not impact the view for other users (same as what happens in Excel Online.
