Project for the web: Add existing Planner capabilities (e.g. document attachments, checklists, priority)
Add existing Planner capabilities to the task details of Project for the Web (e.g. document attachments, checklists, priority, comments). Also @mentioning as new feature would be great.
We really appreciate your feedback about this topic.
Everyone now has the ability to add attachments to tasks in Project for the web!
We are also looking into bringing other Planner features into Project for the web. Please keep letting us know what you would like to see.
Add also email reminders about new tasks and delayed tasks. Thx!
any update? please, we need planner capabilities in projet for the web: filters, attachments and checklist, ...
It would be 'better' to integrate Planner into Project for Web, then this goes away.
It is not simply about the functionality, but using Planer for group task management, you can't do this with Project for Web. If I assign a Planner task to someone, they are informed and can access it. If I do the same in Project nothing happens.
One single Project/Task mgt platform is what we want - look at Wrike

I'd really like to be able to comment/chat on each task like in Planner (or other PM tools like Smartsheet).
I'm very disappointed that I can't create a P4W and similar to Planner, simply:
1 - assign it to a TEAM Channel Tab
2 - when assigning someone to a Task, it automatically shows in one's Outlook tasks
3 - attach files
4 - write comments
Checklists please! And hopefully more than 20 which is the limit for Planner
I am not sure what there is to think about! I thought this was going to be planner with dependencies, it is disappointing to see a loss in functionality.

All planner features are necessary. Additionally: Paste (eg. Printscreen) to Task-Notes and communication (is also in planner not working for now).
Comments! Priority and more Filters Just Like planner

Comments that are linked to outlook, such as in planner, its weird that Project doesn´t have all the features that Planner has. It should be an improvement, but it lacks basic things that are already running well in planner.

This needs a complete rethink - the frustration I have now where I'm trying to use Planner and Project is driving me to now want to use either. I have multiple small projects in planner that could use the functionality in Project 1. However because of the following I'm considering ditching both:
1) I can't migrate a project from Planner to Project
2) Project 1 doesn't have the Planner functionality
I was excited that Project 1 was being released, and have touted this to multiple colleagues, however it's now dead in the water for me due to the lack of functionality and lack of interoperability with other 365 elements (Planner/Teams/Sharepoint etc).
The ideal situation for me would be that the Project 1 elements were a bolted on (paid for if you must) enhancement to Planner, providing a greater level of control and planning capability:
Why this wasn't the first vision for this is testament to the disconnection between the Planner and Project teams in MS
Please, add Filters and Charts for see and plan your tasks
Checklist or even better are Subtasks that can have dependencies

Custom Labels please!

The Planner capabilities I'd most like to see are Comments and Checklist. We use these all the time to facilitate collaboration in Planner and they will help make P4W more useful. Thanks.
We need comments, @mentions, checklists. This looks like planner with gantt and resources. I did this manage to lose features...
This should not be a think about. It should have been shipped with these features.

The lack of documents, conversations, @mentions, etc that folks have come to expect across the entire O365 ecosystem is a significant usability blocker and lacks consistency.
They like the ability to have additional project planning features but the lack of the collaborative features kills it for our users and they go back to Excel when they need to track things like dependencies, etc.
Planner has the ability to group by more buckets, such as Assigned and if we could create our own "Group By - " and use on other plans. In Teams, planner keeps my dark mode but Project does not. The charts are a nice visual for reporting and the calendar works (if it could be printed) for the stakeholders the prefer that view.
