The ability to 'Change working time'
As can be currently done in the desktop version, we need to be able to input the unavailability of resources so that the project schedule automatically takes it into account when the duration of a task is entered

I should be able to define the holidays in the calendar template.

powerapps.com? Really @Micrososft Project Team, that is your answer? How about you add the setting to the actual Project for the web page where our users would expect to see it!

If the templates are working, is it possible to use multiple templates in a single schedule then? So that the tasks can be constrained to one of multiple choices. An easy example is weekday vs weekend. It would be even better if those tasks also auto scheduled around the calendar of the resource to which they are assigned.

In project for the web, adding start and finish date updates the duration. But the duration is not difference in days (See attached). I use a custom calendar that has 16hr workday and all 7 days.
Effort calculation works as expected. No problems there.
But the duration which should be difference in days, but currently it calculates 8hr days

My work has an AWS schedule for employees (alternative work schedule). 12 hour days 6 to 6. Working 2 days, off 2, working 3 days and then the next week is opposite. Day shift AWS can be easily created using exceptions as their shift starts and ends on the same day. Night shift 6PM to 6AM is not possible. If I could specify non working times not just choosing the whole day I could make it work. Either that or I can make every day a default non working day and use exceptions to state specific working times.

This is absolutely necessary. Anyone who manages projects in a production environment also needs to be able to schedule work on the weekend and holidays. And due to tight time frames, we need to be able to plan to the hour.

Microsoft, please add this capability. In MS Project, there are project calendars, task calendars, and resource calendars. We need the ability to make certain days non-working and some weekend days working days -- for example, many IT projects cannot deploy newly developed software/hardware during normal business hours so deployments are only allowed during Sunday or weekends.

As with standard Project, it should be possible to add holidays for a resource (or standard holidays for all resources e.g. Christmas) that the calendar and dates respect when calculating completion dates

Thanks for the suggestion. Project for the web does support project level calendars in addition to resource level calendars. This article has more information to get you going https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/project-for-the-web/create-and-apply-a-work-calendar

Having different Calendar types with flexible working/Non-Working times in Project and Task level is very crucial even for IT Projects.
Resource Calendar also would be required if other types of the resource (material, generic, ...) were available to allocate. -

For example, allow us to have separate calendars for weekdays-only, 7-day, expected rainy days. Then, we could apply a specific calendar to each task and its duration would apply the correct finish dates based on the start date & calendar selected.

There is only way to set calendar/work template to Resources. But calendar/work template does not apply to project level.

Currently Project Tasks are set to start at 9 AM, despite set Work Hours. This causes problems with many multi time zone scenarios. Tasks should honor set Work Hours exactly as they are defined: Hours, days, business closures and breaks should all be honored exactly as they are set.
