Project for the web - Copy Project
I'm at a conference, and customers are interested in Project for the web. However, they are adamant that it have both (a) templates for starting projects, and (b) the ability to copy an existing project to a new one. With those features, they may be interested in trying it.

Hi everyone!
You can now access “Copy Project” by going into a project, clicking on the title to open the details pane, hitting the “…” in the top corner, and then the Copy command.
You can learn more about Copy Project and get Tips & Tricks here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/copying-projects-in-project-for-the-web/ba-p/1477766
Please let us know what you think and continue to share your feedback with us!

Please make the ability to add a copied plan to an existing group. This is a real struggle in Planner as we are tying projects to a group setup in Teams/Groups and yet when I copy a plan (that we have setup as a template) I have to create a whole new group and add individuals every time.

According to the M365 roadmap the feature is coming in Q3 2020: https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=60591

I use project for system implementations and have the same project baseline for everyone - it would be great to copy an entire project instead of having to create the whole things from scratch each time

It would be nice to have this feature to begin new projects from a template or to append an existing one from a template. Having this would allow a project to naturally evolve as it changes phase, and it would minimize clutter throughout the life cycle of a project.
I can see having templates available for each type of project and phase that can be appended to the project as needed.

At least the template functionality is a must have in my opinion. Though the target group is on accidental project managers, there will also be professional project managers with small initiatives using this project - and the idea would be to support accidental as well as professional PM with templates.
