Report Feature in Project for the Web
Have a "Reports" link next to Timeline, on this page have a global "web part" / global admin UI that enabled customers to upload a Power BI report that filtered for the the current Project using the ?projectId query string. This would enable customers to easily build Power BI reports and surface them in the same UI rather than having to navigate to a different application to see reports. Power BI Embedded type approach maybe but out of the box.

Ability to comment tasks / giving feedback
When working on projects, users like to give feedback right in a task / column. Would be nice having a column in the grid view to see comments on a task

Add a full Power Platform connector for project for the web
I would like to be able to have a flow that marks a task as complete when a deliverable is approved for example.

Allow color or icon to be set for buckets
Allow a color or icon to be set on buckets so that it is easy to recognize the type of task in the Board's Group-by-Progress view.
The current view does show the name of the bucket which is useful but an icon or color would make recognition easier. This would help our workflow where buckets are used to distinguish between internal tasks or client-assigned tasks like reviews. A color or icon would make these easy to identity if status meetings. Another example is to distinguish training tasks from development tasks in stand-up meetings.

Group by assigned to
Under the Board view add "Assigned to" under Group by - just like in Planner which uses the same board framework.
22 votesWe’re excited to announce that this feature has been rolled out! You can now go to the Task Board view, and go to Group By > Assignee and see who’s assigned to what across your project.

Read only permission for new projects
Not everyone should be able to create a new project. In our scenario every project manager should have read permission but "normal" project members should be on "read-only" instead.

Add Colouring
Hi,
the roadmap is a perfect tool, however it would be really helpful to get a colour function in it. In order you can give the several projects/tasks in the roadmap a colour. This way it makes it possible to have a good visualization and to see quickly the different projects/programs that are part of the portfolio / Roadmap.21 votes -
Permission Management
Owner should be able to manage permissions to tasks, and by default a task should be only visible to "Assigned To" where he can only edit progress and comments, everything else should be editable by the Owner.

Allow directly adding project team members without Office 365 Group (in Project for the web)
Allow directly adding project team members without Office 365 Group (in Project for the web). Similar to the "modern workplace" in Power BI, please allow adding multiple individual users or Office 365 Groups to a project as members.

Directly import the project timeline into Roadmap
PM's already create a timeline in their schedule with the most important schedule items. It would be very useful and saving a lot of time to import a timeline in stead of all task separately.

Show Roadmap item dependencies
Be able to show that an item has dependency on another item - either in the same row or a different row

Conditional formatting for tasks
In a previous version of Project a completed task in the task list used to show as greyed out. I liked this because visually my eye was drawn to incomplete tasks while still being able to see what had been completed.
Conditional formatting like what's available in Excel would be perfect. Id be able to create a conditonal format that says if the task is 100% complete, show with a green background, if it is between 0 and 100 (i.e. in progress) show with a yellow background, and if the task is 0% complete show with a red background.

Allow Roadmaps to be embedded in other webpages
Currently I cannot embed a Roadmap into another webpage. An example use case is where I want to embed a URL to a roadmap into SharePoint or another CMS in order to enable collaboration across my organisation, using iframes. At the moment this cannot be done because the x-frame-options within roadmap are set to Deny. Please resolve this. The full error is as follows. Refused to display ‘https://project.microsoft.com/en-GB/#/roadmap?portfolioId=29e88c85-3294-ea11-a811-000d3aba6d9b’ in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame-Options’ to ‘deny’.

Option to import 'All Tasks' from existing PWA plans to Roadmaps
I work on several large PWA project plans and it is frustratingly slow individually adding each task into road maps by the type & search function when you are adding adding a new row item.

Delete a Project For The Web project from project home
Deleting a project in Project For The Web is anything but logical: Click on the project, click on the project name (not exactly an obvious thing to do...and still no delete button in sight), then click on the ellipses (...) (still not a logical place to find it) and NOW it shows up.
I propose putting the delete feature on the home page.

Roadmap: Allow to select Timeline/ Summary/ Field/ Custom Bar. Legend
Roadmap is a very nice feature which saves some of our time. We used to do the report manually in MS Project but some features are missing and it will be helpful to add.
1. Allow to select the specified timeline for view with quarter or month zoom.
2. Allow entry of summary project and bar and roll-up of milestone.
3. Allow custom field or bar to format the color and text.
4. Allow to add legend.
Sample attached.14 votes -
Roadmap to allow editing Status field colors and status
Roadmap should allow editing the Status field colors and text of status. Also, the ability to add additional status fields.
