  1. Agile boards in PWA

    The new agile features added to Project are good for planning. Key aspect of agile is communication in teammembers, so access to the plan/boards for team is very important.
    It can be sufficient just display the boards in project site or in PWA.

    Hi all -

    We’re planning on bringing our boards online – but we want to make sure we do it the right way for you all. We started this in the Client, and we’ll be using feedback on the Client boards features to help bring the boards to Project Online.

  2. Modern SharePoint and Project Online

    Modern SharePoint and Project Online
    MS has made ALOT of feature improvements with the modern SharePoint. However not all those features extend to Project online.

    I'd like to be able to replace my project detail pages with the more robust PowerApps and Flow.
    Those PDP are so old school and do not allow much in the way of dynamic content.

  3. Decouple work and duration

    For the management of resources in the AEC space, the option of decoupling work and duration would be extremely beneficial. The easiest way, that we see, would be to add a 4th option to the Task Type of “None” or “Not Fixed”. The goal of this addition would be to completely decouple work and duration for assigned resources so when one is updated the other remains unchanged.

  5. Schedule Versioning

    It would be useful to have versions saved in Project Online for the schedules. Since the emphasis is brought on the web access and the focus is on the ease of use, having versions of the schedules would be great. It could be configured (number of retentions) in the PWA server settings, like it can be done on Sharepoint lists. And the restore should be as easy as selecting a version, viewing it and restoring it.

  6. Rejected engagements should NOT show up in "Capacity Planning -HEATMAP" view

    PWA Issue:
    Rejected engagement shows up in "Capacity Planning > Capacity and Engagements Heatmap" view when "Include proposed bookings" is checked

    This seems to be a defect because:
    • in "Capacity Planning > Capacity and Engagements Heatmap" view > Rejected engagements are showing up as demand hours >This is not a correct logic and needs to be fixed.
    • The other “Capacity Planning Views” are not reflecting rejected project engagements. This shows us that there is a defect in the "Capacity Planning > Capacity and Engagements Heatmap" view

    Suggested solutions:
    1. Remove rejected engagements from the "Capacity Planning > Capacity…

  8. Shamsi Calendar in MSP 2019

    Shamsi Calendar in MSP 2019
    Hi there,
    Would you please answer this question?
    I was wondering that if Jalali Calendar (other names: Persian/Solar/Shamsi calendar) is added to Microsoft Project 2019.

    Microsoft has already added Shamsi Calendar into Windows 10 and Excell 2016 ; but it was not added to MSP 2016

  10. Automatically Show Task Name in Engagement Information

    When creating a new Resource Engagement Request in Project Professional, you can right click on the task in the "Resource Usage" View and select "Create New Engagement" and Project will automatically populate the Start Data, Finish Date and Units as well as the Resource Name in the "Engagement Information" form, but description is blank and there is no reference on screen as to what task you just selected.

    Please can you add a field to the "Engagement Information" form called "Task Name" that automatically pulls through the "Task Name" from the task you right clicked on.

  11. Add calendar week numbers to timeline/timescale

    I can't display the calendar week numbers in my project timeline. From week 1 to week 52 each year.

    Only "project week numbers" with prefix "W" are available, starting on the week where the project starts. The prefix "W" is not a mandatory need for displaying calendar week numbers.
    It could instead be e.g. "CW" for calendar week. CW01, CW02, CW03....CW49, CW50, CW51, CW52, CW01, etc...

    Eg. this week (from monday 18'th of april) has calendar week number 11. CW11.

  12. Business Drivers not available in Odata feed

    Hello,
    we are using both Power BI Desktop & Power BI Pro to analyse project-related information. The information is maintained in Project Online using PWA _api/ProjectData ODATA feed. We are able to view and load the following tables : - PrioritizationDrivers - Prioritizations - PortfolioAnalyses - PortfolioAnalysisProjects, - BusinessDrivers, - BusinessDriverDepartments - PrioritizationDriverRelations data - And Projects data. We would like to analyse the mapping of Projects directly to Business Drivers as captured in the Project Strategic Impact Page (in a Webpart). This data is not visible in any tables viewable in the ODATA feed. I feel there is a…

  13. Rollup of 'number' type custom field in Project Center

    Enterprise custom fields of the type 'number' can be added to the Project Center (created as a Project field type) and can then be added to the Project Center view to show the field settings.

    The field value is created either by a calculation or through entering a value in the field in the Project Details. However the 'rollup' option does not total these as it does for other fields, for example 'Cost' type custom fields.

    I would like to see the 'number' field roll up in the Project Center view.

    Project online desktop client feedback forum search is to broad, it should have an advanced search facility to drill down otherwise there are hundreds of results to trawl through. Which wastes my business time

  19. Project Comparison Report field names true customised

    Project Comparison Report field names true customised. The Compare Projects process generates "custom fields", but does not "rename", it just adds a "title" , as a consequence if a field is hidden it is very difficult to identify again from the field list since only the default name is listed, e.g.my current project file has a field "titled" "Start Current" which has been assigned to Text (10) if I hide, it to simplify my table , then want it back for another report, I need yo know that it is Text (10) because the "title" name does not show up…

  20. Data Import Tool for Lookup Tables

    It would save a lot of time if there was a way to import data into lookup tables for enterprise custom fields. Or at least a way to copy & paste multi-cell ranges from excel
