  1. Information on project last modified/published by

Along with the last modified date/last published date, there should also be a last modified by/last published by information (user who last modified/published)

  2. Surface Additional Project Meta-Data for Favorite Projects

It would be valuable to allow the system to surface additional information directly on the home page for the user's favorite projects. For example, image the favorite tile as a baseball card. Clicking on the project would allow the card to flip and show statistics. (Last Published, Top Risk, Top Issue, % Complete, Actual Hours Worked Etc. This allows the PM to see management level detail directly on the home page. Using these KPIs - the user could then navigate directly to the specific page. For example, if the Top Risk was of concern - the PM could click on…

  3. Automatically Show Task Name in Engagement Information

When creating a new Resource Engagement Request in Project Professional, you can right click on the task in the "Resource Usage" View and select "Create New Engagement" and Project will automatically populate the Start Data, Finish Date and Units as well as the Resource Name in the "Engagement Information" form, but description is blank and there is no reference on screen as to what task you just selected.

Please can you add a field to the "Engagement Information" form called "Task Name" that automatically pulls through the "Task Name" from the task you right clicked on.

  4. Roadmap: remove or change the group associated with a Roadmap

To be able to change the group linked to a Roadmap to share to different users without adding them in original group that can provide to many access if group is used by Team for instance.

Objective is to be able to share the only the Roadmap to different communities.

  5. Add calendar week numbers to timeline/timescale

I can't display the calendar week numbers in my project timeline. From week 1 to week 52 each year.

Only "project week numbers" with prefix "W" are available, starting on the week where the project starts. The prefix "W" is not a mandatory need for displaying calendar week numbers.
    It could instead be e.g. "CW" for calendar week. CW01, CW02, CW03....CW49, CW50, CW51, CW52, CW01, etc...

Eg. this week (from monday 18'th of april) has calendar week number 11. CW11.

  6. Roadmap: Integrate iteration start and finish dates into user story items pulled from Azure DevOps

Currently the roadmap flow only pulls in the start date and the target date from Azure DevOps items as start and finish dates for roadmap items. For user story items the target date cannot be set in out-of-the-box mode. The best would be if the dates for user stories could be pulled from the Azure DevOps iterations as user stories are prioritized in the backlog and then assigned to a sprint iteration which in turn has a defined timeslot.

  7. Business Drivers not available in Odata feed

    Hello,
we are using both Power BI Desktop & Power BI Pro to analyse project-related information. The information is maintained in Project Online using PWA _api/ProjectData ODATA feed. We are able to view and load the following tables : - PrioritizationDrivers - Prioritizations - PortfolioAnalyses - PortfolioAnalysisProjects, - BusinessDrivers, - BusinessDriverDepartments - PrioritizationDriverRelations data - And Projects data. We would like to analyse the mapping of Projects directly to Business Drivers as captured in the Project Strategic Impact Page (in a Webpart). This data is not visible in any tables viewable in the ODATA feed. I feel there is a…

  8. Create New > Project should allow to pick PWA

With the new feature to change the default Project Web App (PWA) site to their preferred PWA site, the Create New > Project simplifies the way Project is created in the preferred PWA site.

When there are multiple PWA sites and the user needs to create a Project in non-default PWA site, they need to navigate to the respective PWA site to create the project.

So, look at option to list the PWA sites when user click on “Create New > Project”

  9. Promote/move individual items in "swimlanes"

Would like to have the ability to move rows within a project view in Roadmap higher or lower. Currently can only do entire project moves.

  10. Conditional formatting for tasks

In a previous version of Project a completed task in the task list used to show as greyed out. I liked this because visually my eye was drawn to incomplete tasks while still being able to see what had been completed.

Conditional formatting like what's available in Excel would be perfect. Id be able to create a conditonal format that says if the task is 100% complete, show with a green background, if it is between 0 and 100 (i.e. in progress) show with a yellow background, and if the task is 0% complete show with a red background.

  11. Bulk Publishing of PWA projects

We use the PWA for managing hundreds of projects, generally it is quite good. However, it is cumbersome and slow to manually enter each project and publish progress. Particularly when working on multiple projects at once. It would be very beneficial if there was a means of publishing progress across all or a selection of projects in bulk.

  12. Allow Roadmap Flow actions for general use

It seems like there are several useful Flow actions specific to Roadmaps. It would be very useful to have these flows available as actions that can be added to other flows. Several integration scenarios will open up.

  13. Add Colouring

    Hi,
the roadmap is a perfect tool, however it would be really helpful to get a colour function in it. In order you can give the several projects/tasks in the roadmap a colour. This way it makes it possible to have a good visualization and to see quickly the different projects/programs that are part of the portfolio / Roadmap.

  14. Please create "Cumulative Baseline Cost" Field for creating S-Curve Reports within MS Project Desktop

In order to create an effective S-Curve report, the schedule should, at the minimum, be able to display the Cumulative Planned Cost (Baseline Cost) and the Cumulative Actual Cost (Actual Cost) along the project timeline (Weekly or Monthly).
Only the Cumulative Cost field is available right now. There is no field that can be use for the Cumulative Baseline Cost.
Right now our team would have to develop the S-Curve report using PowerBI. it is doable but I would prefer for it to be done in MS Project Desktop to keep my workflow simple.

  15. Task Changes/History Summary View

Project managers and administrators should be able to view all the changes/history to tasks within a project without having to view them individually and become a delegate

  16. Roadmap to allow editing Status field colors and status

Roadmap should allow editing the Status field colors and text of status. Also, the ability to add additional status fields.

  17. Show item type when adding items from Azure DevOps to a roadmap

When adding an item from Azure DevOps the user can't see if it is a feature or a user story. Items with similar titles might be wrongly selected. It would be good to get an additional inidcation on the item type in the selection pane.
    Kind regards,
    Trutz Stephani

  18. Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT)

Please bring back PERT. Project used to include this. It is a very powerful tool. It is essential in identifying and managing uncertainty. In today's world there are a lot of advanced analysis software programs that can take advantage of this. Advanced users really need this.

  19. Project Roadmap & Top-Down approaches

Roadmap feature will be definitively amazing when it will allow Top-Down approaches. This would make Project ready for programme management as currently defined in almost all industries.

A general requirement is to get a "Programme" level (object) where could be attached metadata, resources requirements, budget information. To be able to define this information at a top level and then to compare it to consolidated data comng from projects (Bottom level) is a recurrent need.

As an example, it would be great to have the capacity to compare programmes budgets with operational projects costs.

  20. Project Status Date Access in PWA

Add the ability to enter the project status date in PWA not just in MS Project. We are trying to blend multiple projects, those managed by true project managers in MS Project, and those that are higher level, managed by Product Managers in PWA only so that we can report on the full portfolio. Some of the limitations in PWA, such as allowing the entry of a Project Status Date, cause issues.
