  1. Date format of project ie set dd/mm/yyy

    Allow projects to be set in the relevant date format. It seems as if only US date format is available. That means in Australia dates are misinterpreted 12 days every month. It’s the same issue as planner. Date format needs to be considered for every MVP.

    Ability to view Notes column in Grid View, so you can get a quick view of where the task is sitting or is blocked

  3. Integration with Azure DevOps and Project for the Web connection

    Automatically create an Azure DevOps Project when a Project for the Web project is created.
    Ability to setup how each task should create Workitems in DevOps.

  4. Can you add Baseline information in Roadmap?

    I would like to track status of major milestones on multiple schedules on my Road map page. Without the ability to view baseline dates for these milestones, I cant tell if the milestone has slipped. For example, say I have 200 project schedules in my (PWA) enterprise. I would like to see the completion task date for each project (represented by a row in road map). That way if the PM updates their respective project, and their completion date pushes by one week, Road map would act as my enterprise level dashboard that would flag this projects date push if…

  5. Enable the Recent project list and cards to be configurable + sorting

    Enable the Recent project list and favorites cards to be configurable to show more data. As Project Home works across multiple PWA instances, each with potentially different configuration, allowing up a fixed number of intrinsic fields would be good. Maybe up to 5 additional intrinsic fields. Then enable sorting on the Recent project list using the column headers. Also provide the ability to sort the favorites cards too using the data displayed on the cards.

  6. Group by assigned to

    Under the Board view add "Assigned to" under Group by - just like in Planner which uses the same board framework.

  7. Finish to Start

    In Project Online, I use finish to start +- x number of days and do not see this on Project for the Web. That's a major hindrance to using this version. I'd love to see this added as i usually use automatic tasks and assign FS dependencies on them.

  8. Check Out/Publish vs Live Project Updates in New Project

    This is less of a suggestion but more of a clarification request. With this new Project product, the planning methodology seems to have fundamentally shifted from a 'check out file, make/test schedule changes, and publish' to a more 'live planning' approach where any changes are pushed instantly. There are still some businesses that do not plan in this way and are more sensitive to changes in dates, especially when automation (e.g. email/push notifications) are applied to the schedule. How does Microsoft plan to accommodate for organizations who may not want all of their planning to be published in real-time?

  9. Time-tracking app integration with MS Project

    Wouldn't it be great if all our various team members could track-time via a mobile app that then integrated with MS Project to show actual time worked on tasks!

    We'd learn really fast lessons about our estimating accuracy that would help us improve double-quick.

  10. Ability to comment tasks / giving feedback

    When working on projects, users like to give feedback right in a task / column. Would be nice having a column in the grid view to see comments on a task

    Allow directly adding project team members without Office 365 Group (in Project for the web). Similar to the "modern workplace" in Power BI, please allow adding multiple individual users or Office 365 Groups to a project as members.

  12. Project budget and costs

    There should be a way to include costs per resource, task, subtask, hourly rate etc to being for budgeting and offering purposes.

  13. Add Colouring

    Hi,
    the roadmap is a perfect tool, however it would be really helpful to get a colour function in it. In order you can give the several projects/tasks in the roadmap a colour. This way it makes it possible to have a good visualization and to see quickly the different projects/programs that are part of the portfolio / Roadmap.

  14. More excel like funtionality

    Hi,

    to improve the usability it would be good to be able to:


    • Paste activity lists from excel.

    • Copy by dragging like in project online

    • Import plans from project online

  15. Project for the web - Threaded Comments

    Perhaps this has already been suggested, but the way Planner allows to review the comments added to a task much like a SharePoint discussion is a great feature and it would be a great improvement to the new Project for the web.

  16. Mobile App for Android/iOS

    More and more users are working on the go with their mobile. A mobile app for Android/iOS would be a big big plus. Especially for executives!

  17. Show all items from a project when adding to Roadmap

    When we try to add items from a project, it is cumbersome to ‘search’ for something specific.

    It would be nice to have the list show up with multiselect- checkboxes, so that multiple items can be added easily.

    It would be awesome to have the 'Outline' feature from the schedule available so that the lists can be expanded or collapsed.

    And finally, ability to connect to a specific view from schedule webpart will allow admins to build several views that might just be milestones/summary tasks etc.,

  18. Roadmap to lock or save zoom filter

    The Roadmap zoom filter always returns to weekly views. The zoom should maintain or lock the last zoom settings. Each time I return to Dashboard, I must reset my zoom to see a full year.

  19. Roadmap: Integrate iteration start and finish dates into user story items pulled from Azure DevOps

    Currently the roadmap flow only pulls in the start date and the target date from Azure DevOps items as start and finish dates for roadmap items. For user story items the target date cannot be set in out-of-the-box mode. The best would be if the dates for user stories could be pulled from the Azure DevOps iterations as user stories are prioritized in the backlog and then assigned to a sprint iteration which in turn has a defined timeslot.

  20. Surface Additional Project Meta-Data for Favorite Projects

    It would be valuable to allow the system to surface additional information directly on the home page for the user's favorite projects. For example, image the favorite tile as a baseball card. Clicking on the project would allow the card to flip and show statistics. (Last Published, Top Risk, Top Issue, % Complete, Actual Hours Worked Etc. This allows the PM to see management level detail directly on the home page. Using these KPIs - the user could then navigate directly to the specific page.
