   Thank you for your feedback. For now, you can use an API through Powershell to import .mpp files in Project for the web. You can learn more here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/import-project-desktop-files-to-project-for-the-web-api/ba-p/2031298

   We are also looking into other ways to support import. Stay tuned for future updates.

   I agree with other recent comments here. I found this page when searchiong for how to open an mpp in Project for the Web. The idea that you are still "Thinking about it" after six months is appallingly bad customer service. MS Project Web is a useless product if it can't be used to open mpp files. Licence cancelled and I'll look for an alternative solution to viewing mpp files.
