    Hi everyone!

I’d like to understand why you need to edit the schedule in the desktop app, versus just in the web? What key components can be improved for you to work in the web, without needing the client?

If we provided an import from .mpp to the web, would you be able to be successful managing your project in the web? If no, why not?

Thank you! We love hearing your feedback.
    ~J

It would make sense with large schedules and also when you need to provide an export for a customer.

    Hi everyone!

We understand the need and ask for templates. We will be starting with a Copy Project feature, and continue to think about template scenarios. This is not a one or the other scenario!

Please continue to share your template scenarios, and we will keep you posted.

See here for Copy Project: https://microsoftproject.uservoice.com/forums/914203-project-for-the-web/suggestions/38956756-project-for-the-web-copy-project

Templates are still needed because with the current security model anyone needs to be part of the o365 group that hosts the original template and can therefore alter it

This works already today. Just click Connect to project and then choose from your "Project for the Web" projects.

@Michael: Well, at the moment you aren't allowed to do even that. Therefore some change seems necessary.

    Hi all!

We appreciate the feedback and understanding your scenarios! As we plan/develop this, we would appreciate continuing detail on how you would use this, where you would use this (row level/item level), and how this would benefit you.

Thanks again to our Uservoice community!

    Hi everyone!

Thanks for the votes, we’re definitely thinking about this one. If we had an import to Project button, would this improve your experience in the Web? Would you be able to be successful managing your projects purely in the web? If not, why not? If you would still need the client, why?

    Thank you!

It would help if there would be at least an import/export function for MPP files to give accidental PMs the option to send their schedule to a customer and also to pick up on work that started in the Project client

    Hi everyone!

Thank you for your continued feedback here. We are working on enabling you to create and use custom fields in Project for the web.

While we don’t have an ETA quite yet, we will provide one as soon as we can.

As always, let us know if you have any more feedback (on this suggestion, or other suggestions).

    Hi everyone,

This is currently in development, and we will provide updates when we have them. Additionally, we have just announced that we are supporting read-only access for Projects & Roadmaps with an O365 license. This will start rolling out next month, which will be beneficial for Teams View Access once we complete this! You can learn more here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=60646

    Thank you!

Add native Teams integration that doesn't require you to add Teams to a O365 group and also provides an App in Teams that allows you to display the "Project for the Web" embedded without having to copy&paste the URL and add the &dynamicsUI=true parameter
