    Hi everyone!

Thanks for this suggestion. Please keep sharing what level of zoom you use Roadmaps for!

Here are some questions that can spark discussion in the comments that can help us build the right scenarios into Roadmap:

What duration do you use the Roadmap (1 quarter, 1 year, 5 years…etc)? What type of work are you tracking to use this time period? Would you use multiple views or stay on one – and why?

Thanks everyone, looking forward to reading comments and discussions in this topic!

    ~J

Agree with other supporters that the 1 project task: 1 planner card sync is a much more valuable use case than the 1 project task: 1 planner board.

In my experience, MSProject is a Project Manager's tool for mapping out complex project plans, and Planner is simpler interface for team members to find their action items (they have a hard time navigating a Gantt chart to find what they need to do next). In addition, Planner has better integration with Word and PowerPoint files stored on SharePoint for collaborative authoring, which is the bulk of the projects for my team. Would be nice to use MSProject for creating and tracking a plan, and Planner for executing the plan with team members.

I'd like to add an alias to each baseline to differentiate budget years (2017, 2018, etc).

Many of my projects involve creating documents (Word or PowerPoint files). My project plan outlines the process (create draft 1, review draft 1, adjudicate comments, create draft 2, etc). In Teams, I would like for users to be able to view the project plan in a tab across the top, then click on a link that takes them right to the document (in Teams), and then they could go back to the project plan tab and mark their task "Complete".

It drives me nuts that I have to have a "print to pdf" program to be able to save a copy of a file that looks like the screen rendition. I should be able to do this straight from the Print button. Please MSP team, fix this??

We should be able to see past published versions of a timeline. At the Admin level, we should be able to set the number of versions (eg, 10 or 50) based on the number of project plans we have and system performance.

I'm the head of a PMO that uses Project Online. Recently I edited one of my PMs project plans, and she said that the dependencies are now incorrect, so she asked me to revert back to the prior version. I was surprised to learn that there is no way to do this in Project Online. This is absolutely critical to a multi-user environment.

I like this idea. I often have to tell people new to MSP not to touch the Start and Finish columns, but only change dependencies and durations. Making Start and Finish into read-only fields would support this behavior.
