Hello everyone!
Thank you for your feedback here. We are in the process of rolling out the ability to export your Project to Microsoft Excel.
This feature should be available to everyone by the end of this week.

Fully agree, why are you not able to customize the Timeline view with the same columns you have in the grid view. Not being able to see duration of the task, dependencies etc. next to the Gantt is a big miss

Hi everyone!
Thank you for your feedback. For now, you can use an API through Powershell to import .mpp files in Project for the web. You can learn more here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/import-project-desktop-files-to-project-for-the-web-api/ba-p/2031298
We are also looking into other ways to support import. Stay tuned for future updates.

Would like to have more options in terms if dependencies not only Finish-Start.
Also for the timeline view you should be able to insert all the various rows you have in your grid view, to customize what is show on the left side of the Gantt chart... -

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the feedback on baselines. I’d love to hear more, and get a discussion going to understand the needs and usage here.
What’s the most important set of information in a baseline? How often do you take baselines? How often do you compare baselines?
For those of you who have not previously used the desktop client or Project Online, how have you been tracking baselines on your projects?
Thanks!

I have read through the comments, and we have a new update that may benefit some on this thread.
We have just announced that we are supporting read-only access for Projects & Roadmaps with an O365 license within a tenant. You can learn more here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/project-for-the-web/office-365-user-view-access-to-project-and-roadmap

Fully agree with previous below comment. It is frankly ridiculous that you cannot make a "static" print to a PDF for sharing a plan. How are you supposed to share the plan with customers? You dont want them to have live access as see every slight change you make...
