Hi all -
You can now add the PWA project summary task in the Roadmap UI and its dates will stay updated. Note that this works with only new PWA connections to Roadmap.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hi everyone!
Today, we added improved Roadmap zooming! If you go to your Roadmap, you’ll be able to zoom out to multiple stops and views, and as far out as 6 years!
Thank you for everyone who shared their feedback and scenarios – please let us know what you think.

I have a different opinion on this. Roadmap is designed to integrate with tools beyond Project Online. Though I see the purpose behind % complete, I don't know about how other tools that are supported and that will be supported with have % complete. Probably a way to map the % complete of Roadmap with the underlying tool is the deciding factor.

Hello everyone!
Thank you for your feedback here. We are in the process of rolling out the ability to export your Project to Microsoft Excel.
This feature should be available to everyone by the end of this week.

Hi all!
We’d love to hear more about using Planner in Roadmap. Would you connect multiple Plans together in one Roadmap? As a portfolio manager, would you bring in both Planner tasks and Project tasks in one Roadmap? What type of Planner tasks would you bring into this view? What else would you expect?
Please share any details and feedback around this – we love hearing your thoughts!

% Physical Complete is to with the real work completion and not connected with time.
Email reminders are to do with % Complete and not % Physical Complete. Mark the % Complete also to 100% to stop this reminder.

Hi all!
Thanks for the suggestion. We’d love to understand more around this scenario.
Would you be adding tasks and milestones? Do you ever expect to connect this row to a project, or create a project? What happens after the proposal state to the row? Why else would you be creating blank rows and tasks? Would you have a roadmap with both types of rows?…
The comments below are very helpful already, so please keep them coming! We want to better understand why customers need this scenario fulfilled.

I am thining of scenarios where full project plans might not exist, or do exist but are in a different (non-project/Azure) tool which doesn't yet integrate.

Why would you want to hide tasks or rows? Rather add a flag and create a filter to display tasks based on the flag value

I recommend the Baseline fields to be read only and not the other fields. Start and Finish fields is your forecast which could be imposed dates or calculated dates. If Start and Finish fields should not be editable, either hide these columns or write a macro to disable edits

Keeping the Start and Finish read-only for auto-scheduled and editable for manually scheduled task will be confusing. The reason for Start and Finish to be made editable is to provide the user to set quick constraints for auto-scheduled tasks, and set probable dates for manually-scheduled task. To make this change in habit, I recommend to insert Scheduled Start and Scheduled Finish (read-only fields) and hide Start and Finish columns. The Scheduled Start and Scheduled Finish would provide the to-be dates for both auto-scheduled and manually scheduled tasks
