This is critical as we are asking non-PM's to complete tasks right in the tool. As they work across 5-10 projects at a time, if there is no roll-up then Project will be a no-go. Integration into To-Do lists would be a good solution as well.

We are starting work to enable native notifications in Project for the web. We will share updates as we have them.

Hi everyone!
You can now access “Copy Project” by going into a project, clicking on the title to open the details pane, hitting the “…” in the top corner, and then the Copy command.

Please make the ability to add a copied plan to an existing group. This is a real struggle in Planner as we are tying projects to a group setup in Teams/Groups and yet when I copy a plan (that we have setup as a template) I have to create a whole new group and add individuals every time.

You can now create local custom fields for your tasks!
Under the “Add Column” button in the grid, you’ll find a new menu option to create a New Field. Click it!
- Add dates, numbers, text, and flags to help you organize your work
-Filter tasks by the contents of your fields

Agree with those saying, it needs to be flexible, but to give you an idea, we need to include the functional group that is doing the work. Something may be assigned to a person, but we need to be able to indicate whether that person is on Operations, Creative, etc.

We really appreciate your feedback about this topic.
Everyone now has the ability to add attachments to tasks in Project for the web!
We are also looking into bringing other Planner features into Project for the web. Please keep letting us know what you would like to see.

Checklist or even better are Subtasks that can have dependencies

Hi everyone!
I’m updating this to “partially complete” as we have finished rolling out the “Copy Project” feature. You can access this by opening a project, clicking on the title to open the details pane, hitting the “…” in the top corner, and then the Copy command.

We’re still thinking about the specific templates scenario and reading your comments below. Please try the feature out and let us know what other feedback/improvements can be made.

Project for the Web is so close to being usable for our team. The last two items are 1) The email notifications which are coming soon, 2) Integration with To-Do lists! There just has to be a rolled up view for the team members. They might have 1 task across 4 projects and it's not productive for them not to see this in one view. Integration with To-Dos would be perfect and I hope this makes it on the dev roadmap soon!
