This is also a basic function that is missing. I don't understand why it was not required during the conception of the P4W.
The P4W represents a huge interface improvement but is not ready to be in Production Environment.

    Thanks.

    Hi everyone!

You might have noticed that you can filter by string on the Grid view. You can now filter on task names and assignees (check the top right corner of your projects!)

I’m marking this as partially complete, as I know there were many other asks here. Please continue sharing your needs and scenarios around filtering.

    Thank you!

I can't believe this "idea" has only two votes. This function is mandatory!
A good collaboration requires "Project Managers" and "Project Users".

The P4W represents a huge interface improvement but is not ready to be in Production Environment.

    Thanks.

    Hi everyone!

Thanks for the feedback on baselines. I’d love to hear more, and get a discussion going to understand the needs and usage here.

What’s the most important set of information in a baseline? How often do you take baselines? How often do you compare baselines?

For those of you who have not previously used the desktop client or Project Online, how have you been tracking baselines on your projects?

    Thanks!

This is another basic function that must be implemented as soon as possible.
The P4W represents a huge interface improvement but is not ready to be in Production Environment.

The interface of P4W + some of the PWA functions = Extraordinary Project Management Software.

By now it is not possible use P4W as a project manager.

    Hi everyone,

This is currently in development, and we will provide updates when we have them. Additionally, we have just announced that we are supporting read-only access for Projects & Roadmaps with an O365 license. This will start rolling out next month, which will be beneficial for Teams View Access once we complete this! You can learn more here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=60646

    Thank you!

    Hi everyone!

Thanks for all of your feedback – we are planning on adding an “export” feature for Project for the web based on your comments. We will update you with more details as soon as we can!

Also – a quick reminder that we have been rolling out read only access for those with an O365 license (and Plan 1 license for Roadmap view access)

    Hi everyone!

Today, we added improved Roadmap zooming! If you go to your Roadmap, you’ll be able to zoom out to multiple stops and views, and as far out as 6 years!

Thank you for everyone who shared their feedback and scenarios – please let us know what you think.

    Hi everyone!

I’m updating this to “partially complete” as we have finished rolling out the “Copy Project” feature. You can access this by opening a project, clicking on the title to open the details pane, hitting the “…” in the top corner, and then the Copy command.

You can get more details, tips and tricks here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/copying-projects-in-project-for-the-web/ba-p/1477766

We’re still thinking about the specific templates scenario and reading your comments below. Please try the feature out and let us know what other feedback/improvements can be made.

It is a excellent news that MS is planning on building the "Copy Project". Please build also the "Template" function. Thanks.

This is a basic function of a Project Management. "Duration" and "Effort" are not the same thing and could not be linked.
I want to implement the P4W in our Department but it is not possible due this missing functions.

    Hi everyone!

Thank you for your continued feedback here. We are working on enabling you to create and use custom fields in Project for the web.

While we don’t have an ETA quite yet, we will provide one as soon as we can.

As always, let us know if you have any more feedback (on this suggestion, or other suggestions).

We have to manage many projects from different Departments. How can we do that without "Custom Field"? This is a basic function.
