    Project (for the Web) - Allow the Project Manager (Owner) to define a security matrix for different user roles on the project and what they are able to do. Things like: Who can delete a task, who can change or see key fields - for example costs;
This would be totally user defined.

Let me write this a complex user story.

As a Project user, I should have the ability to perform and document all work associated with a task. I should be able to: update the status of the task; add or update a checklist for the task; specify a person who is accountable for the task (owner) and other people who are working on the task (collaborators); post a comment on the task including @mentions, links, emojis, attachments, bulleted or numbered lists; etc. - similar to formatted or rich posts in Teams. I should be able to do this in a way that is consistent within the M365 platform. In general, I want the collaboration experience consistence across my work platforms regardless I'm in To Do, Planner, or Project.

    Hi all!

Thanks so much for your feedback. I’m happy to announce you can now add attachments to your tasks in Project!

You can use this new feature by opening your task details in Project. The add attachment button is available at the bottom of that pane.

Please let us know what you think of this new feature!

Hi everyone – thanks for the feedback so far. In regards to Planner & Project for the web, we are definitely listening to these scenarios and thinking about how to improve them!

Would helping import from Planner to Project be helpful in this case, and enabling teams to work in Project?

I read a lot of comments on making sure we can leverage full Planner capabilities in Project, team members being able to see and complete their task, and not wanting to “re-write” and “move” tasks over. Are these the most important scenarios for us when thinking about this area?

Adding to the last comment, we are a medium sized company (about 3,800 employees) and we find it ridiculous to acquire a license for each person contributing to a project when they are limited to the work they've been assigned, recording status, collaborating with teammates or updating documents (oops, I can't attach a document to a Project task...). Users in this class would not be able to add or modify tasks, only perform the work associated with the task assignment.

Plain and simple - Project for the Web needs to have Import and Export capability. To/from MS Excel and CSV. An Import Wizard which allows column mapping similar to Excel that supports the new custom columns. And the ability to export a filtered list of task with column selection. This is critical for us to consider Project for the Web as part of our enterprise tool set.

    Hi all!

We appreciate the feedback and understanding your scenarios! As we plan/develop this, we would appreciate continuing detail on how you would use this, where you would use this (row level/item level), and how this would benefit you.

Thanks again to our Uservoice community!

    Hi everyone!

You can now access “Copy Project” by going into a project, clicking on the title to open the details pane, hitting the “…” in the top corner, and then the Copy command.

You can learn more about Copy Project and get Tips & Tricks here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/copying-projects-in-project-for-the-web/ba-p/1477766

Please let us know what you think and continue to share your feedback with us!

    Hi everyone!

Thanks for the feedback on baselines. I’d love to hear more, and get a discussion going to understand the needs and usage here.

What’s the most important set of information in a baseline? How often do you take baselines? How often do you compare baselines?

For those of you who have not previously used the desktop client or Project Online, how have you been tracking baselines on your projects?

    Thanks!

Baseline management is critical in analyzing a project team's performance in Agile or Predictive project management. Multiple baseline "snapshots" for point-in-time reporting and analysis is important.
