Hello everyone!
Thanks for your feedback! You can now customize and extend the Project app without purchasing additional Power Apps licenses, making it easier for your organization to tailor Project Plan 5, Project Plan 3, and Project Plan 1 to meet your business needs.
Read more about this on our blog: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/customizing-and-extending-the-project-app-just-became-more/ba-p/1878008

We are starting work to enable native notifications in Project for the web. We will share updates as we have them.
You can also set up customized notifications through flows in Power Automate. We have published two templates you can use, and customize You can learn about them here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/new-flow-templates-for-project-for-the-web/ba-p/1384140

Hi all!
For all new projects, you are now able to set Effort and Duration independently of each other for tasks with assignments. When Effort is set, Duration will not change.

Hi everyone!
Thank you for your feedback. For now, you can use an API through Powershell to import .mpp files in Project for the web. You can learn more here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/import-project-desktop-files-to-project-for-the-web-api/ba-p/2031298
We are also looking into other ways to support import. Stay tuned for future updates.

Hi everyone!
I’m updating this to “partially complete” as we have finished rolling out the “Copy Project” feature. You can access this by opening a project, clicking on the title to open the details pane, hitting the “…” in the top corner, and then the Copy command.
You can get more details, tips and tricks here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-blog/copying-projects-in-project-for-the-web/ba-p/1477766
We’re still thinking about the specific templates scenario and reading your comments below. Please try the feature out and let us know what other feedback/improvements can be made.

Hi everyone – thanks for the feedback so far. In regards to Planner & Project for the web, we are definitely listening to these scenarios and thinking about how to improve them!
Would helping import from Planner to Project be helpful in this case, and enabling teams to work in Project?
I read a lot of comments on making sure we can leverage full Planner capabilities in Project, team members being able to see and complete their task, and not wanting to “re-write” and “move” tasks over. Are these the most important scenarios for us when thinking about this area?

Our company is looking for this Time-tracking capability as well in that simple Project for the Web app. I know it is available in Project online, however it would be perfect to have it in P4W.
The other work around could be if we were able to customize the column headings, then we could use a Numbers column to enter our time into tasks and projects. Hopefully this could happen soon at least?
