    Hi all!

Thanks for the suggestion. We’d love to understand more around this scenario.

Would you be adding tasks and milestones? Do you ever expect to connect this row to a project, or create a project? What happens after the proposal state to the row? Why else would you be creating blank rows and tasks? Would you have a roadmap with both types of rows?…

The comments below are very helpful already, so please keep them coming! We want to better understand why customers need this scenario fulfilled.

Similar to the previous comments, this would be really useful for scenario planning between the change pipeline and in-flight projects (currently held in PWA).

A way of creating a high level plan template with the ability to bring in the Generic Enterprise resource groups for PWA to assign to the project phases would be good. We can then connect the two datasets in Power Bi to give the holistic view - with the ability to change start/finish dates and duration to fit prospective change into the in-flight capacity.

A button to create a new project in PWA using the high level plan in Roadmap would be great. As would being able to assign costs as a flat profile across the task duration.

    Hi all!

We’d love to hear more about using Planner in Roadmap. Would you connect multiple Plans together in one Roadmap? As a portfolio manager, would you bring in both Planner tasks and Project tasks in one Roadmap? What type of Planner tasks would you bring into this view? What else would you expect?

Please share any details and feedback around this – we love hearing your thoughts!

    Hi all!

We would love to learn more about this suggestion. What types of Jira projects are you expecting to connect? What type of Jira issues would you want to bring in? What interactions would you expect with the Jira connection in Roadmap?

Any comments and suggestions here would be helpful for us to better understand this scenario.

    Thanks!
    ~J

Dependencies in Roadmap would be extremely useful, with the option to select hard or soft dependency behaviour.

It would also be helpful to have a line (similar to current date) drawn down the page/canvas for key dates added to the roadmap overview to signify release dates and code freezes etc. - being able to shade areas between these dates could be useful.

    Hi everyone!

This is something we’re thinking about – but we’d love more feedback from you.

Can you share specific scenarios that you need for resourcing? What information do you need to be successful? What actions do you take as a result of this information?

Please share detailed scenarios for us to understand what you need, this will be very helpful to us as we improve Project!

Capacity planning for skillsets is required in order to compare the pipeline of change (resource profiles) with the current in flight allocations/assignments.

Being able to apply generic costs and link these back to financial account codes or funding areas would also be helpful for budget forecasting etc. It would also be useful to be able to control who can see the cost data via permission group - something like tasks; resources; cost; all.

The ability to tag resources as permanent or contractor is required.

Ability to connect to 3rd party systems to bring in scheduled annual leave etc. for resource availability.
